Boulders Game Ranch is situated in the Limpopo Province of South Africa. The 1300 hectares ranch borders the Selati Game reserve in the triangle between Phalaborwa, Gravelotte and Mica and is situated in the southern most corner of the block. The access roads to the Ranch will be the R71 from Tzaneen, the R40 from Phalaborwa or the R526 from Hoedspruit.

Boulders Dam Lodge
Boulders Dam Lodge offers a perfect getaway from the hustle and bustle of everyday
life.
The Dam Lodge's rustic settings ensure that you experience the tranquility
and beauty of the surrounding bush.
Enjoy "catch and release" fishing at the dam
which is situated a few meters from the chalets.
The Lodge offers self catering facilities
are provided to ensure an undisturbed and peaceful stay and can accommodate up to
8 people.
Facilities included are : Indoor kitchen, stove, fridge, outdoor shower,
electricity, ceiling fans, hot water and braai facilities braai facilities.
The Homestead
The Homestead is the personnel residence of the owner (Gray Scarterfield) and has 3 extra guest rooms with bathrooms en suite for additional guests.
The homestead also has a large bar and hosts the private collection of hunting trophies (close to a 100) that have been hunted in most of Southern Africa countries as well as Mauritius, Australia, Norway and Spain. The collection may be viewed by appointment only.
The homestead also hosts a huge aviary that has well over 500 indigenous birds from various African countries.
Small mammals are also bred at the homestead in various breeding camps such as Blue, Red and Common Duiker, Sunni, Sharps and Cape Grysbok, Klipspringer, and Steenbuck
Activities:
Game Drives including Night drives: A wide variety of game is found on the ranch including white rhino, buffalo, sable, eland, kudu, hyena, giraffe, warthog, wildebeest, zebra, impala, nyala, waterbuck, reedbuck, duiker, klipspringer, the shy and very rare Sharpe's grysbuck, as well as a very prolific leopard population. Cheetah, wild dog, elephant and lion have also been sighted on occasion, as they pass through the ranch to neighboring wildlife reserves.

Birding: Boulders is a birdwatcher's paradise, whether you are sitting in your chalet, the dining deck or taking a 4x4 safari, you are guaranteed to see a wide variety of birds. Discover the smaller miracles of nature through the eyes of someone who knows and loves the bush, from identifying the types of trees, to the different species of birds and insects.
Fishing: This is the real Africa, a land of Mopani trees, wide open spaces and year round summer. The low lying parts of the province make for a long growing season and consequently Bass in the region can grow very large.
Hunting: We specialize in ethical Bow hunting, though trophy animals may be hunted with a rifle.
Quad trails
No Quad bikes are allowed due to very aggressive Buffalo and Rhino.
Our animals are also tame and we like to keep it that way.
