BriSan on the Canals , owned by Sandy and Brian Cunningham, is an elegantly appointed thatched guest house situated on the pristine canals of St Francis Bay

 

St Francis Bay is ideally located for either a short visit whilst exploring our magnificent Garden Route, or staying for a relaxing longer holiday. BriSan on the Canals is situated only 100 kms from Port Elizabeth en route to Cape Town. Alternately, if you are making your way up the Garden Route, having enjoyed the sophistication of Cape Town, the Winelands and Knysna, we are beautifully positioned to permit you to experience the best St Francis Bay has to offer - waterways, beaches and superb hospitality. On entering this elegantly appointed thatched guest house, hosts - Brian and Sandy Cunningham - will make you feel right at home.

 

ACCOMMODATION


Elegantly appointed 7 bedroom Bed & Breakfast establishment, ideally located on the pristine canals of St Francis Bay.


We have 3 x canal facing rooms, with king/twin beds, bath & separate shower, opening onto the garden. Upstairs is 1 x luxury/family room with king/twin bed, double sleeper couch, bath & separate shower, opening onto huge balcony with patio furniture, sun loungers and built in braai. Also upstairs is a large, sunny room with king/twin bed, opens onto small balcony, bath & separate shower. Adjacent to this is a smaller room with walk in BIC, queen bed, shower over bath. Finally downstairs is a room with king/bed,

 

ACTIVITIES & ATTRACTIONS

 

To make the most of your stay, why not book a round of golf on one of our fantastic links courses (we have a 2 seater ride-on golf cart for hire).
 

Visit our buzzing harbour to watch our chokka (calamari) boats unload their daily catch.

For the more adventurous and energetic, sailing, windsurfing, waterskiing, paddling, horse-riding, cycling, quad biking and hiking are great options. If you prefer to 'do-it-yourself' we have canoes and a canal boat for hire. Perhaps we can pack a picnic basket for you to enjoy while you explore the magnificent scenery up the Kromme River and our extensive waterways at your leisure.

For those who just wish to relax 'at home' you can enjoy a good book while sipping a long, cool drink on our private beach, or watch the children building sandcastles and frolicking in the warm canal water.

Many would like to experience Africa's biggest attraction, our wildlife, and we have wonderful malaria free Big Five game parks and excellent bird watching nearby.
